Today my 77 comes from a long time loved book of mine - The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adam. The 77: For a moment it seemed that nothing was happening, then a brightness glowed at the edge of the huge screen. A red star the size of a small plate crept across it followed quickly by another one -a binary system. LAST DAY!! Day 26 of the #ABCbookChallenge - Z: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig. The cover claims that “This book will change the way you think and feel about your life”. I have yet to actually read this book (and I probably never will), the dilapidated paperback belongs to my mother, I borrowed it for the pic. My Mum purchased this 1976 USA edition second hand years ago and it was already in poor shape. I was fascinated with this book as a kid. The fact its pages were yellow and falling out, made me feel it was some ancient treasure that I would someday read when I was an adult (maybe I will still read it one day for the hell of it). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The ABC Challenge goes from the 1st -26th November.
